Parents Teacher Meet

Every parent nurtures the dream of all-round development of his /her child. Parent-teacher meetings play a crucial role in the achievement of this goal. Regular interactions and discussions between parents and teachers strengthen the bond between the child, parent, and the teacher. PTM s provide a friendly atmosphere  for the progress of the child's personality, where the teachers and the parents acknowledge the child's aptitude and achievements. Such positive interactions yield rich dividends.

The school organises Open House PTMs for better interaction between parents and teachers. Parents must attend PTMs regularly for a better and closer rapport with the school system and teachers, and to thoroughly scrutinise the academic performance of their child. Parents must ensure regularity, punctuality, and active participation of the child in school activities.

Holidays & Absence

The school year is divided into semesters. There are two breaks each semester: a fall break and a spring break. There are also a number of holidays throughout the year, such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.

Students who are absent from school must have a parent/guardian excuse. The excuse must be submitted to the school office no later than the first day of the student's absence. Students who have excessive absences may be subject to disciplinary action.

Schools Lunch

At Tagore Sr Sec School, students bring their own lunch. This is a great way for students to have control over what they eat, and to make sure that they are getting a healthy and nutritious meal. Students can pack their favorite foods, and they can also pack foods that are specific to their dietary needs.

There are a few things to keep in mind when packing a lunch for school. First, make sure to pack a variety of foods, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean protein. This will help students to get the nutrients they need to stay healthy and energized throughout the day. Second, pack foods that are easy to eat and that will not spoil quickly. Third, label the lunch so that it does not get lost.

Packing a lunch for school can be a great way for parents to connect with their children. It is a chance to talk about their day, their friends, and their favorite foods. It can also be a way to teach children about healthy eating habits.
